Peter Pan adventures

During Autumn I like spending even more time than usual reading bedtime stories. Just after brushing our theeths, feeling cosy under the duvet, we are ready for our usual half-hour reading!

When children are about five years-old, I love telling them long stories that last for days or even weeks. A good way to introduce children to the pleasure of reading beautiful children books.

We’ve recently read Peter Pan‘s picture book : a magical moment both for my little on and I all along the sixteen chapters.

Peter Pan stands for enchanting priceless childhood : the limitless power of imagination, the absence of boundaries between reality and imagination, the taste for adventure, and a limitless optimism. As an adult, it is also sweet to be transported into a world where possibilities are limitless, where the unexpected can arise at the corner of the street … It’s even with a touch of bitterness that we turn the last page of this magical book.

This book is translated and abridged by Xavier Deutsch and illustrated by Quentin Grébaud. It is very faithful to the original version. The text is well written and easy to read, the illustrations are elegant and poetic … A delight for both children and adults that will provide you with unforgettable moments !A great way to arise love for literature!
