Easy meal #11 : quinoa wok.
Today, the meal I want to share with you is a complete fusion dish that both adults and little ones will love… You can also make a veggie version of it if you want to… It’s very easy to make, tasteful and you can reheat it the day after. The perfect dish!!!
Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Ingredients (servings 5-6 ) :
- 200 g de quinoa
- 300 g prime cut of beef (… or rumsteck,chicken or tofu)
- 1 white onion (or a purple one if you want a sweeter taste)
- 1 garlic pod
- 10 cl coco milk
- 3 tablespoons soja sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- A few coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 carrot
- 150 g cherry tomatoes
Cut the carrot into slivers (or grate it). Slice the onion. Fry them in a pan with oil at low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add the quinoa and fry it for about 1 or 2 minutes, then pour some water to cover the quinoa and cook it for about 20 minutes (read the instructions on the quinoa packaging) till the water is all absorbed.
At the meantime, slice the beef and pour the soja sauce on top of it. Add the garlic purée and the ginger. Let the preparation macerate while the quinoa is cooking (for about 20 minutes). Then pour the meat gravy in the pan with the quinoa. In another pan, grill the meat for about 2 minutes max.
When the quinoa is cooked, pour in tue pan the coco milk, the beef, the cherry tomatoes (cut into two parts) and the coriander.
Ready to eat!
