This week, let’s go to Normandy to meet Florence and Sieg. These thirty-something are the happy parents of three kids, Lilou, 7 years-old , Gabriel, 5, and Jude, 11 months.
Florence is a former nursing auxiliary who has stopped working since the birth of her last child, and Sieg is a video editor. Some time ago, these ex-Parisians chose to settle by the sea and opted for a simpler family life.
That’s what Florence is talking about here.
IN THE CITY
What do you like most about your new life?
What we like is to live next to the sea, the beaches of the Channel are huge and there are very few people, a playground perfect for children! Before we lived in Paris, life here is much quieter is also simpler with three children!
What are your favorite family activities?
Simple things: especially going to the sea … what we do as soon as the weather is favorable! Kids love running through the dunes, playing hide and seek, fishing … They already know by heart the way to one of the beaches that we love so much.
So we mainly do nature-oriented activities, there are not many museums in our area …
Is there a place where you like to go out with your family?
There is a small restaurant: La Maison in Saint-Lo … The design is lovely, the kids love it!
Do you have an easy recipe to share with us?
The tomato pie! Simple and fast and the kids love to help me prepare it! Colored tomates, puff pastry, musard and cheese … Bake it in the oven, enjoy!
At home, what are your favorite activities?
Children love to play with their little wooden train, or build castles with wooden blocks.
What are your favorite children’s books at the moment?
Children love the books of Stéphanie Blake, Baby Cadum, or Non, Pas Dodo!
At the moment there is a book that they adore it is Moi je by Amélie Falière and Amélie Billon-Le Guennec to Éditions Frimousse.
A big thank to Florence for this nice interview! You can find the daily adventures of Florence on Instagram @jauraispumappelermarcel.
See you next week to talk about beauty products for both mom and child …
Lots of love,
