Friday cake #36 : almond and chia seeds light cream

Crème de chia aux amandes, Sweet Cabane

This is THE favourite SC famlily’s summer recipe  : we’ve already made this very easy and sweet cream a thousand times, combined to different summer fruits, fresh or cooked. This vegan dessert is for all the family members, even babies…

Preparation time : 5 minutes
Refrigeration time : 30 minutes

Ingredients (servings 6) 

  • 80 cl almond milk
  • 8 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 4 tablespoons almond powder
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup or golden honey

So easy and fast to make : in a big bowl, mix together the chia seeds, the almond milk, the almond powder and the agave syrup. Stir well. Store in the fridge for 30 minutes to make the cream thicken.

You can eat it with apricot or peach compote : these fruits go so well with almond flavour!!!
