We are back in our beautiful countryside for long and beautiful summer days with family and (many) friends !
Even if we have more time than usual in this period of the year, it is not always easy to make healthy and tasty snacks for children … This summer, our favorite recipes play the card of simplicity with snacks mainly made up of bread and jam.
Thanks to Kitchen Aid’s Cook Processor, I can make good abricot and lavender jam (our favourite) a sweet raisin bread in no time. There are the two recipes I propose here …
Of course, you can make these recipes manually, but the Cook Processor saves time and ensures optimum cooking without supervision.
- 170 ml whole mil
- 14 g dry yeast
- 80 g butter
- 10 g of salt
- 2 eggs
- 250g of raisins
Install the kneading blade into the bowl. Put yeast and milk in the bowl. Select STEP P1 and press START.
After step 1: Add flour, sugar, butter, salt, eggs and raisins to the bowl. Close the lid and press START to start step 2.
After step2, press start to start step 3 (= lift).
When the dough is ready, cook for 15 minutes in the oven at 200 ° C.
ABRICOT & LAVENDER JAM
- 400g of sugar
- 400 g of apricots
- 20 sprigs of lavender
1 sachet or tea ball
Install the Multi-Blade in the bowl. Put apricots and then press the “impulse” button for five seconds. Then open the lid and scrape the sides of the bowl. Add the sugar, close the lid without putting the stopper. Select P1, then press START to confirm.
Meanwhile, rinse glass jars with boiling water.
Once cooked jam, brew a few lavender sprigs in a teabag for about ten minutes and then remove it.
Finally, fill the jam jars. Close immediately. The jam will last longer.
To taste without moderation with the raisin bread or pancakes !!
