Milwaukee Café – Biarritz : so local, so good
Second step of our summer holidays : the Basque Spanish Coast with San Sebastian and its amazing ‘pintxos’. During one of our latest trips to Biarritz, we had lunch at Milwaukee Cafe, a children suitable American restaurant (high chair and children menu).
This coffee shop, founded by two American girls, Wendi and her daughter Emily, offers scrumptious desserts : shortbreads, banana bread, banoffee pie, carrot cake,… and wonderful cookies (the ones with peanut butter are just divine!).
A tasty selection of fresh fruit juices gives a healthy hint : Silhouette fruit juice (apple, celeriac, carrot) or the Green Detox one (ananas, cucumber, spinach, apple and ginger) … You can also find food for lunch : hamburgers, gazpacho, salads, bagels, with home-made French fries and fresh salade. Just delicious!
Take into account that all the products are local and seasonal and all the dishes and desserts are homemade!…
