As Christmas is just around the corner, this is a great hazelnut cookies’ recipe an Instagram friend of mine has just given me… She had this recipe from her German mother-in-law, Irmgard. This recipe is perfect for Christmas : scrumptious, easy-to-make with kids and perfect with a spiced tea or a coffee…
Preparation : 10 minutes / Baking time : 15 minutes
Ingredients (for around 20 cookies) :
- 125 g butter at room temperature
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg
- Vanilla extract
- 100 g floor
- 125 g ground hazelnuts
- Around 20 whole hazelnuts (60 g)
Preheat the oven at 180 °C. Beat the butter with the sugar. Add the egg, vanilla extrait and ground hazelnuts. Add the floor and stir well.
Line greaseproof paper. Make some small piles with a teaspoon. Put a hazelnut on top of each pile and press lightly.
Bake them in the oven for about 15 minutes at 180 °C.
You can store them several days in a box at room temperature.
