So happy to welcome you here again after this long summer, dedicated to children and travel. I was hoping to publish in September, but the schedule was very, very tight because of children going back to school, and of a very heavy workload on my side. In short, happy to welcome October in a more serene way and come back here to share some recipes, interviews and good ideas!
For this coming back on Sweet Cabane, I’ve written a simple recipe that smells like sunny autumn : pears caramelized with nuts. You can taste this sweet dessert alone or with yogurt, heavy cream or ice cream …
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 35 minutes at 190 ° C
Ingredients for 4 people) :
- 4 beautiful untreated pears
- 25 g of butter
- 35 g of suggéra
- 2 pinches of Himalayan salt
- 4 beautiful walnuts from Périgord
Peel, seed and cut the pears in half. Arrange them at the bottom of a oven dish. Crack the nuts and crush them into small pièces, then sprinkle them on the pears.
Then sprinkle small pieces of butter, sugar and salt.
Bake for about 35 minutes until the pears are golden brown and caramelized.
These pears are delicious warm or even cold, as a dessert, snack or even breakfast . You can keep them for a few days in the refrigerator. At home, I usually cook a large amount of pears that can be enjoyed in different ways throughout the week …
I hope you enjoyed this recipe.
Let’s meet again next week for a ‘Mum at Work’ interview that will take us to Amsterdam …
Havea lovely week,
