For those who may think they do not eat enough chocolate during the Easter weekend, or for those who prefer focusing on one chocolate dessert, here is an express, easy and super tasty recipe with its very dark chocolate and its salted butter pie crust. All chocolate lovers will enjoy it! At home, my kids are crazy about this pie…
***
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Refrigeration time : 2 hrs minimum
Ingredients (for 6-8 people)
- 150 digestive biscuits or shortbread
- 100g salted butter
- 200g of chocolate dessert (or darder chocolate )
- 30 cl whole cream
- 60 g butter
- Baking paper
- Pie pan
Preheat oven to 200 ° C.
Prepare the pie crust. Crush the biscuits with the butter with a wooden spoon (or an electric mixer) to form a crust. Spread it in a pie pan you have previously liner up with parchment paper. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 200 ° C and let it cool down.
In the meantime, prepare the cream. Cut the chocolate into small pieces and put it in a bowl. Boil the cream and pour it over the chocolate. Add the butter cut into small pieces. Stir well until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the cream on the pie. Wait until it has cooled down, then place the pie in fridge for at least two hours (you can go up to 24 hours).
Before serving, you can decorate it as you wish, according toyour table’s theme. For my part, I’ve chosen pansies, flowers that are quite edible and give easily a spring look to your dessert.
Enjoy it!
Have a great Easter weekend and see you next Tuesday for a Spring fashion selection for girls, boys and toddlers!
Take care and enjoy each moment!
