Travelling through China at the FLV

Ten days ago, we went to the new exhibition about Chinese artists at the Fondation Louis Vuitton : Bentu. Both parents and kids enjoyed very much! In this masterly, wide-open and luminous place, every one could have appreciated these wonderful masterpieces from contemporary artists.

Most of the art pieces evoke the tension between the artists’ original culture and the globalised world in which they’re now living. Paintings, videos, sculptures… show the great mutations of this century for China and the rest of the world.

The multiplicity of the media makes the exhibition easy to be grasped even by little ones. Adults may perceive the vision and critics suggested by these art pieces, but kids can feel the poetic and playful dimensions.

The impressive dimensions of the art pieces reinforce the visitors’ sensory experience.

The Bentu exhibition was a real great family moment! We recommend it warmly!

Till May 2nd, 2016.
